James McSweeney is the President and CEO of the CIP Group, which he founded in 1988. Under his leadership, the CIP Group has grown to be one of New England's most prominent and diversified employee benefit organizations. James' entrepreneurial mindset and penchant for innovation serve him in his mission to help businesses navigate an ever-changing employment landscape. Throughout his career, James and his team has provided employee benefit, HR, wealth management and 401k solutions to over a thousand individuals and businesses across the country.
As a well known leader in the industry, James has been asked to serve on the National Broker Dealer Advisory Board, the Massachusetts Health Connector Broker Advisory Committee, as well as the Broker Advisory Boards of many nationally recognized health plans. In addition, James serves on the board of Directors for the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce.
